Hello! It’s time to get hopping with the Stampin’ Creative ladies and this month we are pleased to be joined by a guest hopper Laura Mackie. If you haven’t hopped around the Stampin’ Creative team before, you are in for a real treat!
Our theme for May is Masculine Makes so come and see what I created. I decorated one of the mini Pizza boxes and then created a set of 6 mini cards to go inside.
I decided to pick a stamp set that doesn’t necessarily shout out “perfect for a male theme”. The Piece of Cake stamp set features cakes which can be used for both Birthdays and Weddings, but seem to have a touch of a feminine feel.
I opted to use a strong and bold colour combination to turn the project into one suitable for a man. It features Pacific Point, Coastal Cabana with a hint of Pineapple Punch.
The designs are simple, with minimal fuss to suit the men. Texture was added with the Corrugated 3D textured embossing folder.
The simple designs came together in a flash, with a quick stamp and a punch thanks to the coordinating Piece of Cake bundle …. this has 10% off until 3rd June, and although both stamp set and punch will feature in the new catalogue there will not be a bundle price.
Finally a flourish of stamping inside the card and on the envelopes finish the project off.
