In Colour Party

by | Aug 6, 2012

Evening all, what a fabulous weekend that was! Medal after medal and lots of them Gold in the Olympics, a lovely time away with friends with lots of good food and drink, and then Sunday evening tea at my parents for my Dad’s birthday. I did find time to make these cute cards for some of my customers though.
The 5 colours are the 2010-2012 In Colours – Poppy Parade, Blushing Bride, Concord Crush, Pear Pizzazz and Peach Parfait. These retire in September so if you have fallen in love with Poppy Parade like me, best stock up on that card stock now, before it’s all gone.
For each card I made a card 4″ card base and then used the Adorning Accents Edgelits to cut the front to show off a Stampin’ Up! Magnetic bookmark in the matching colours.
The top layer in Whisper White, also edged with the Edgelits dies, was randomly stamped with one of the small flowers from Reason to Smile in coordinating ink. A simple sentiment layered up with word window to finish it off.
Don’t forget you can get this exclusive stamp set FREE with a £60 order during August – perfect time to stock up on these In Colours. For 20 A4 sheets in the five colours the price is just £6.25.
I’ll be back with some exciting news from Stampin’ Up soon.
Hasta la próxima / until next time
