Can’t remember the last time I bought a card but desperate times almost called for desperate measures. Then on Friday evening I managed to get a bit of ‘me’ time and out came the Stampin Up! stuff.
I really wanted to make my Mum a personal card because she loves the cards I make and appreciates the effort, and she has been so supportive and helpful over the past few weeks from doing the ironing to picking up some shopping.

The lettering is created by combining both the Schoolbook Serif and Broadsheet Alphabets – my first time using these and I can see they are going to be well used.
Got to dash, hubby is on kitchen duty again (it’s a good job he’s a good cook!) and we have Rick Stein’s Beef Kofta Curry for tea and it smells delicious. Going to try and eat without Grace waking up and wanting feeding – she seems to have comedy timing!
