Stampin’ Creative Blog Hop Love & Appreciation

by | Jan 27, 2018

Hello and welcome to the first Stampin’ Creative blog hop of 2018. We are back and bigger than ever and we have some special guests joining us each and every month, so be sure to come and check them out each month.

In January we have these 2 fabulous bloggers joining us – Linda at Stampin With Linz and Laura Mackie

Blog Hop Guests january 2018

The theme this month is Love and Appreciation, so whether you regularly visit my blog or have popped over from my super talented friend Emma at Coastal Crafter then welcome, come in and see what project I have to show my Love and Appreciation to you for popping by.

Love and Appreciation for the Stampin' Creative Blog Hop

I actually have 2 projects to share and both feature the gorgeous Painted With Love Speciality Designer Series Paper – the catalogue does not show this paper off – it is full of gold foiling giving it a real luxurious feel. I love it, and so does everyone I show it too!

The card front has a simple design – featuring on the pattern of the papers, and adding a simple tag with the Scalloped Tag Topper punch. The simple hearts topper was created with the Heart Happiness Stamp Set which features in the Spring Summer Catalogue and coordinates with the Sweet and Sassy Framelits.

Then you open up the card to find this ….

A little Pop Up Storybook fold adds a little wow for the recipient. I kept the decoration simple inside using some more of the Painted With Love papers, but some of the non-foil side this time,  and added some simple stamping to finish it off. I sure hope my Valentine likes it!

The Mini Treat Bag makes a perfect little treat holder to go with the card. Created in one of the most striking designs from the Painted With Love Designer Papers it has a wow before it is even decorated.

A simple topper was created with one of the dies that comes with the treat Bag Thinlet – a little strip of hearts so I did 2 strips in some of the coordinating cardstock.  The watercolor heart was simply inked up with the 2 markers to create a tye-dye effect and then I fussy cut it out (though there is a matching framelit if you wanted it!).  A simple greeting popped up on a Classic Label and it was finished.

So that is my project for Love and Appreciation and now it’s time to hop on and see what the rest of the ladies have to show you – up next is the fab Gina at Emerald Kreations so click on the button below to hop on!

Happy Crafting and hasta luego,

Prior to this hop, I really wasn’t sure about these papers, but the more I’m seeing them used, the more my love for them is growing. I LOVE your little treat packet and your card really shows off the gold within it. I’ve never made one of these fancy fold cards and really should give it a try, it looks so clever. Thanks for the inspiration Louise xx
