Welcome to another edition of the Stampin’ Creative Blog Hop and our October hop has a theme of Trees and Leaves to give you a selection of autumnal or festive ideas. Today we are joined by a very lovely guest hopper – Heidi at Flutter by Heidi so please make sure you hop on over and see what fab project she has to share.
You’re here with Louise at Stampin’ Delight and whether you’re a regular reader or have whizzed over from the super talented Mikaela at the Crafty Oink Pen then I’m glad you stopped by.
My project today features one of my favourite thinlets sets at the moment – Pretty Pines – the pine fronds are so much fun to create with …. come and see!
- The pine fronds are great to create all manner of shapes – wreaths, borders or just as an accent to your project. Here I die cut in Old Olive and Always Artichoke cardstock before layering up onto a Soft Suede layer embossed with the Woodgrain Embossing Folder for a totally woodland feel!
- TOP TIP – When using intricate dies like these it works best with the Precision Base Plate and the Die brush and then adhering to your project with the Fine Tip Glue Pen.
- A touch of copper foil for the Pinecones adds a touch of class to the card and is matched with a sentiment heat embossed with Copper Emboss Powder – I love the new copper metallic embellishments! The bow is one of the dies in the set too – in fact you get 13 dies in total – so plenty of options.
- The inside of the card is given some coordinated treatment with plenty of space to write my message to the recipient.
So that’s my share for the hop and it’s time to head on out and see what the rest of the crew have to show you – up next is our lovely Gina at Emerald Kreations so click on the button below to hop on!
Hasta luego / see you later
