Stampin’ Creative Blog Hop – Trick or Treat

by | Sep 24, 2016

Stampin Creative Blog Hop

Welcome to the Stampin’ Creative Blog Hop and our September hop – today we are joined by a very lovely guest hopper from across the channel, so please make sure you hop on over to our lovely Dutch friend Danielle from Mrs Brightside! You’re here with Louise at Stampin’ Delight and whether you’re a regular reader or have whizzed over from the fab Emma at Coastal Crafter then I’m pleased to have you pop by today. This month we have a theme of Trick or Treat …. some may be sharing some Halloween creations with you, but I opted to show you a trick in the form of a fancy fold – the Pop Out Swing Card. So come and see what I have made and then you can continue hopping by using the next button at the end of this post.

The project today features one of the fab seasonal bundles from the Autumn Winter catalogue – the Seasonal Bells bundle which you can get in wood or clear mount.

Seasonal Bells Pop Out Swing Card

  • The Pop Out Swing card is a great way to add a little something different to your cardmaking and is still suitable for posting out in a normal envelope – so great for your Christmas Card List. This card was made using the Layering Square Framelits, which make it super easy to cut out the window and coordinating parts.

  • I went with a simple colour scheme of Garden Green and Crumb Cake, using papers from This Christmas Speciality DSP to dress up the inside of the pop out swing.

  • The feature panel of the card features 2 bells from the 4 different designs there are to choose from and is dressed up using the matching twine from the trio pack and one of my favourite embellishments – the Christmas trinkets. How cute are they!

  • The final element added is one of the 3 sentiments from the stamp set, which coordinates with the Bunch of Banners framelits. So great that we have all these coordinating products to make crafting easy.

So that’s my Pop Out Swing Card shared, now time to see what the rest of the crew have to show you – up next is our lovely guest hopper Danielle from Mrs Brightside so click on the button below to hop on!
