Stampin’ Up!’s Wood Words in New In Colours

by | Jun 11, 2017

Wood Words is one of the new Stamp Sets from the Annual Catalogue which has become a firm favourite here and I wanted to play with some of the new In Colours too – so come and see what I created.

The Wood Words Stamp set available in clear and wood mount.

Wood Words Stamp Set

I love the way the Wood Words Stamp Set combines clean and vintage. There are solid shapes, but all come with a textured design that makes your projects pop! The cluster of flowers works wonderfully with these images and makes for a really versatile stamp set to add to your collection. It comes in both wood mount and clear mount.

The Stamp Set comes as a bundle with the matching Wood Crate Framelits Dies – not only does it include a die to create cute wood crates, but there are coordinating framelits for the stamp set.

Wood Crate Framelits - perfect treat holder.

Here I used the heart die to add a textured background to the card …. another way to use your dies.

2017-2019 In Colour Combinations

The colour combination used on this project came from a handy tool Stampin’ Up! has given us. An In Colour Combination Chart which gives a range of combinations to use all the 5 New In Colours with existing ones from the colour families.  Here I followed the first one for Fresh Fig, combining it with Soft Sky, Sahara Sand and Basic Black. I can’t wait to try some of the other combinations.

For all of my ladies who attended my recent catalogue launch, I prepared the Colour Combination Chart as a handy little Bookmark tool to pop in their craft totes like this. What do you think?

Purchase the 5 new In Colours from my Online Shop during June and July 2017 I will pop one of these in the post to you!

So that’s my first make with the Wood Words Stamp Set, and I am itching to create some more! What’s your favourite stamp set to ink up at the moment?

Hasta luego / see you later
