No this isn’t a post from my foodie blog Comida y Vida gone astray but a project made in the lovely Pumpkin Pie colour. I do love some of the SU names for colours, makes playing with Stampin Up! much fun. Chocolate Chip is so much more appealing than Brown don’t you think?
Orange or Pumpkin Pie as I now call it, is not a colour I would normally opt to use but I really like the combination when teamed with Whisper White and Chocolate Chip. I decided to make a little cupcake box and card as a matching gift set.
I opted for a gatefold card, the front of the card is decorated with some dotty Designer Paper from the Brights stack and has two little embellishments made with Chocolate Chip card and ink.
Open to find a cupcake tower with sentiment stamped in Pumpkin Pie and Chocolate Chip and matted onto Chocolate Chip card.
The matching box has the same embellishments as the front of the card on each side and I used the Scallop Circle punch to make a window.
Intrigued as to what is in the box? Well a carrot cake cupcake of course with frosting.
Carrot cake is one of my signature dishes and you can get the recipe here. Go on have a go!
Supplies used:
Card and Ink : Pumpkin Pie, Chocolate Chip and Whisper White
Stamp Set : On a Pedestal
Designer Paper: Brights stack – Pumpkin Pie.
Off to make a cuppa to have with a cupcake …nom, nom!!
ooooh I likey very muchly Louise. Hmm you’re going to be good at this SU demo stuff I can tell. Now why on earth didn’t you suggest to me to make your yummy carrot cakes in the form og cupcakes before? Y’know how my big version went a bit overcooked around the edges, going to have to give these another try. What do I reduce the cooking time etc by?

Louise, these are lovely! I had my 1st stampin up party last weekend. Having only seen their products in magazines & on the internet, it was lovely to see them in the flesh. Needless to say my bank account took a hammering! Good luck with your new venture & keep posting more of your inspiring makes 🙂
