No sooner is Christmas out the way than us crafters start thinking about the next celebration … which is of course Valentines Day. I’ve been getting into Cupid’s role and having a play with the I {Heart} Hearts set. This set is not only perfect for February the 14th, but also Weddings, Anniversaries and Birthdays for the ones you love – so many ideas!
I wanted to make a quick and simple card and went for a bit of embossing to add the wow factor.
The card base is in Crumb Cake and and then I stamped 2 hearts in Cherry Cobbler and 2 hearts in Versamark which I then covered in clear embossing powder and heat set. This heart stamp looks fabulous done in this way – wish the photo did it justice!
I’ll be back with some more love-liness from this stamp set and if you fancy having a go at creating some Valentines, Wedding and Anniversary cards yourself then why not come along to my January Papercraft class. Here’s a sneak peek at one of the cards!
