In and amongst my hectic schedule I was also asked by the lovely Liz of Simply Scrumptious Cupcakes to make a few name places for a wedding fayre she was attending. The theme was “pink vintage” and she wanted some name places that looked like luggage tags to attach to her gorgeous cakes.
I used the Extra Large tag and the Large Tag punches and used the linen thread to add that vintage feel. The tags were made in Pretty In Pink cardstock. The little flower stamp is from the Fruit & Flowers set from the Spring Mini catalogue – a set that somehow gets overlooked, but it really is a great set.
Don’t they add a finishing touch to a great table layout.
I also did an alternative version with an added strip of Crumb Cake textured cardstock and the motif is from the Wedding Sweet set. Liz added this to her vintage teacup cupcakes, which look a-ma-zing!!
If you wanted to create your own name places for your wedding or party then this is a really simple way to add a touch of handmade wow! Also, if you want some fabulous cupcakes or cakepops at your party or wedding then contact Simply Scrumptious Cupcakes here. Check her out on Facebook too.
