After last week’s birthday extravaganza with 5 birthdays including Baby G’s I’ve still got lots to share with you. Today’s card is one I made for one of my best friends who had a very special birthday. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to go celebrate with her in Oxford as it clashed with Baby G’s celebrations but I’m sure a fab night was had by all.
I used the Alphabet Soup Chipboard to spell out the special age. It’s ok as I’ll always be older than her anyway! 😉
I inked it up with Wild Wasabi ink using my sponge daubers and layered it onto Basic Black cardstock – I chose green as this is my friend’s favourite colour. The lettering formed the top of the easel card. I kept it simple and just added a cupcake using Wild Wasabi Designer Paper stack and a topper stamped in Melon Mambo ink.
The stopper for the easel was simply made from the Decorative Label Punch and a sentiment from the Create a Cupcake set.
Â
A little bit of bling as only the birthday girl deserves and voila … it was ready to be posted.Â
Â
Apologies for the poor photographs, there was something changed in my camera’s settings when I was taking these and I couldn’t figure out what!!Â

Hasta la próxima / until next time
