Evening, just a quick post whilst I get ready to watch the Opening Ceremony for the Olympics. I’m getting quite excited about it all now .. how about you?
I have another card from the Mixed bunch class and this one was by far the favourite with my ladies … the Flower pot card. I had seen a lot of these in blogland but many were not able to stand up by themselves so I created one which can stand alone.
The flower pot was made from Soft Suede card stock which I embossed with the Simply Scored and diagonal plate for extra effect. The flower pot rim was decorated with the Eyelet Border punch and a strip of the Everyday Enchantment paper for added detail.
The bunch of flowers was created by stamping and punching 3 flowers from the Mixed Bunch set and then attaching them to the slider part of the card which fits into the pot.
A few leaves die cut with the Little Leaves die and a sentiment to finish.
I enjoyed making this card so much I decided to make another!
Both pots are decorated with a length of the FREE ribbons you can earn with an order of £45 or more, and that cute Butterfly brad is also part of the Embellishment pack (worth £16). Only a few more days to get this offer so don’t forget to send me your order by 31st July to get these cute freebies.
Hasta la próxima / until next time
