Festive Penguins

by | Aug 1, 2012

I know it’s only August but I’m pretty sure before very long you will see Christmas stuff appearing in high street shops, so I thought if you can’t beat them … join them! As a crafter I really should start in January to do all that I always want to do by Christmas, but hey ho it’s August and I’ve made a start!

Today’s card is simplicity itself ! Well it should be as it’s the challenge sketch over at Less is More where Clean and Simple is the only thing allowed. I know, can’t believe I’ve managed to join in 2 weeks in a row … must keep it going as I do love being a Limette!

The image panel is layered on a strip of Real Red card stock which has been punched with the Scallop Border Trim, and simply adorning a card base in Crumb Cake.

These penguins are such lovely stamps and with a hint of colour from my Marker pens they just look so cute.

If you want to try and get ahead like me and you can get to Rugeley, Staffordshire, why not come along to my next Papercraft class – Christmas in August.
