Last week I was invited along to Steph’s house to do a party for her and her friends. We decided to focus on Christmas and she also wanted me to demonstrate the Simply Scored. Now Steph is a master crafter and boxes and books are her thing, so I needed a project with a wow factor, but which was also suitable to demonstrate.
I scoured the internet and then on a forum for just us demo’s called Stampin’ Connection (another great tool for demonstrators!) I spotted this box by US demo Kirsteen Gill.
It is a stepper compartment box and is so simple to make with the Simply Scored and the matching Diagonal plate. Now even though these products were launched with the Summer mini which ended in August, you can still order these products during September as they will be back in the new Annual Catalogue to be launched in October.
I made this box as my sample for Steph’s party and used Pacific Point and Wild Wasabi cardstock to match the gorgeous Beyond the Garden Designer Series paper. This is on the retirement list and has been reduced by 5% to £7.46 so don’t forget to order yours before it’s gone!
At Steph’s party I demonstrated one with a Christmas theme using new stamp sets and papers from the new Autumn/Winter catalogue, but you’ll have to wait to see that one till I get home and take some piccies!
