Madison Avenue Trio!

by | Jan 30, 2013

Morning, sorry I’ve been a bit AWOL the last week or so, but we are on a DIY mission here at the Casa de Craft. I went a bit crazy the other week and impulse bought some new flooring for my living room and kitchen/diner – we only have a small house, so that’s pretty much the entire ground floor! Fitting date acquired and suddenly I realised I needed to prepare the rooms so the last few days have been spent stripping an awful mahogany varnish from the door frames and dado rail, ripping out the fireplace and wallpaper stripping!
It’s left little time to create and even less time to blog! However, I did manage to sneak up to the craft room yesterday and make some cards for my Craft Stash Club ladies to go with their January orders. I used the Madison Avenue stamp set – it’s hardly left my desk since it arrived you know!

I used a neutral card base of the my favourite Crumb Cake and then did colour combinations from the 2011-2013 In Colours. These will be leaving us in the summer so make sure you get them before they are gone!

Lucky Limeade was perfect for the stem and leaves, with pairings of Pool Party and Island Indigo and  Calypso Coral and Wisteria Wonder for the flowers.

I popped up the middle flower’s centre with some dimensionals and then added a banner from Itty Bitty banners as the sentiment – this is one of the Current Catalogue items also available for free with a £45 order!

And last but not least here they all are together. I do hope my ladies like their cards!

They will also be getting a little shiny gift from me with their order to use in their next makes! Oh the perks of being a Craft Stash Club member!!

If you fancy joining my next club, we are hoping to kick off in February so reserve your place today – for full details see here

Thanks for popping by and would love to read a comment or two! 😉

Hasta la próxima / until next time
Louise x
