Jar of Hearts

by | Feb 11, 2013

Well, a little bit later than planned, but I’m here with a quick post. This evening’s activities have been delayed by pancake making and flat pack furniture building!!
It’s only a couple more days till Valentines so thought I’d share more inspiration from my Love and Thanks class.  This card uses the Perfectly Preserved set and matching Cannery framelits, which was in the Autumn Winter catalogue and have been carried over into the Spring Seasonal thankfully!! To see all those products that are still available check out page 34.
The base is my comfort zone colour of Crumb Cake, with a jar and lid stamped in Raspberry Ripple and then die cut out. I love sets with matching framelits – they make stamping and cutting your images a doddle – just like on this card.

The hearts were punched out with the small heart punch and scattered into and out of the jar. A base of Raspberry Ripple cardstock, topped with some Orchard Harvest Designer Paper (this has now retired) was layered on the bottom of the card.
To finish a banner from the Itty Bitty Banners stamp set was stamped and die cut. Did you know this is one of the Sale-a-bration freebie choices – one of the 6 products from the main catalogue which can be gifted with a £45 order.

Have you made your valentines yet? Would love to see a picture so feel free to share a link below in the comment box or on my facebook page.

Hasta la próxima / until next time
