I’ve had a lovely day today with my Monthly Technique class in Rugeley, but before I get on to that, I thought I’d pop back with some of the other projects we made at the All Day Summer Craft Day.
The second session of the day used the project I showed on the Blog Hop previously. All the ladies had a pack of these super usable Kraft gift boxes in their kits and with one to decorate on the day, they had 3 more to take home and decorate.
They are great to personalise with either some of the Designer Papers or some embossed card. I showed the ladies how to create the flower with the Modern Mosaic stamps and punch, which is finished off with the Boho Blossoms punch to create the centrepiece.
The third session of the day was a larger more detailed card, featuring another Mosaic Madness Flower, only with lots of layers to make a real impact.
The other key feature was the window created with the Labels framelits and the gorgeous acetate which is part of the Quatrefancy Designer papers. Here’s a view of the inside showing the detail of the window. I used a sentiment from Sweet Essentials – one of the 3 sets on offer this month with 25% off.
The last project of the day was possibly my favourite of the day – a cute handbag made with the Labels framelits and filled with some cute little cards featuring a technique called emboss resist.
So that’s all the projects for the day, and because we were having far too much fun, time went so quickly we had a little mad busy session at the end making sure everyone had all their bits stamped, cut and embossed to glue together at home.
Here’s a couple shots of my ladies hard at work! 😉
It was a super fun day and I’m now planning my next all day class in Staffordshire. If this sounds like something you’d be interested in, leave me a comment or drop me an email and I’ll email out the details when it’s done.
Be back soon / hasta pronto
