Stampin’ Up! New Annual Catalogue Blog Hop

by | Jul 2, 2013

Morning and welcome to the Stampin’ Stars New Annual Catalogue blog hop. The Stampin’ Stars are the larger family of demo’s that I am part of and it’s great to have lots of levels of support and inspiration from such a great bunch of ladies. Just one of the many perks of being a Stampin’ Up demonstrator …. and another is getting our hands on new products early!!

So I’ve been having a play over the past couple of weeks with some of the products being launched today in the new 2013-14 Annual Catalogue.

So today you have the opportunity to have a look round a collection of blogs to see what we’ve all been playing with. You might have arrived here from the lovely Joanne Penney and if so … hello!

I have a cute gift and card project to show you today using the new, fabulous, so on trend, Quatrefancy product suite. I used one of the Kraft boxes which I always like to have on hand to decorate up for gifts, and covered it with panels of the Quatrefancy Specialty Designer Papers.

I used the coordinating Mosaic Madness stamp set to create a flower as a topper for the box. The Boho Blossoms punch which gladly has made it into the new catalogue too and I used it to add a centre to the flower and finished off with a Basic Adhesive pearls.

The card features the coordinating Mosaic Embossing folder as a textured background and a banner of the coordinating Quatrefancy papers. I then added a few Mosaic decorations on top – so easy to do as there is a matching punch to cut out the mosaic designs. Gotta love that stamp and punch, stamp and punch thing that Stampin’ Up do so well!!

I haven’t added a sentiment as I like to have projects like these made up so they are ready for a last minute gift requirement and I can add an appropriate sentiment then. So there’s my first make with these new products – what do you think?

There’s so many gorgeous things in the new catty, I’ll be back soon with some more. But for now your next stop on the Stampin Stars Blog hop is Lelly Jelly’s Stamp n Scrap. Enjoy!

Hasta la próxima / until next time,
