Best of Flowers Class – Daisy Card

by | Aug 7, 2013

Here’s another card and another quick post. We are counting the hours now till my sisters wedding so have to be quick with my blogging!

This card is one of my favourites from last month’s classes and probably the most simple. It features the daisy stamp from Best of Flowers and shows off Stampin’ Up!’s knack of coordinating stamps with matching tools, along with a way of using the blender pens.

Best of Flowers Daisy

The daisy was first stamped in Strawberry Slush on to matching card stock for a watermark feel. Then we stamped a number of daisies in Strawberry Slush ink onto Whisper White and used the blender pens to shade them in. They were then simply punched out with the 1 1/4″ scallop circle punch – which fits perfectly of course! – and then mounted up onto dimensionals for added depth.

The embellishment came in the form of a strip of Crumb Cake Seam Binding and a lovely brad from the Antique Brads collection. A sentiment and some stamping on the inside to finish off and that was the card completed.

Best be off as lots to do

Be back soon / hasta pronto
