So this post shares something quite special …. it is my first project made with Stampin’ Up’s design software My Digital Studio! As demonstrators we have been able to get access to the software so we can learn how to use it before it is made available to our customers … which hopefully won’t be too far away …. so watch this space!
So my first MDS project was to create the Table Names for my sisters wedding, with each table being named after a band the happy couple have been to see in concert. She wanted to incorporate an album cover from each band into the Table Name decoration so MDS was a perfect tool to use.
There are many great templates for cards, tags, photo books and calendars but you can also set your own project template, which was perfect for this as I needed to create a custom size project.
I used the Downtown Grunge kit for the background and used the Photo Corner punch to frame each album cover.
I then added a few handstamped tickets using the That’s the Ticket stamp set to turn this into a hybrid project and add a little dimension.
On the back of each table name I created another print in the same design with a little message to all the guests.
I was quite pleased with the finished projects and think the happy couple were too seen as now we have them saved to put into a memento book for them.
