I’m back today with more inspiration than you can shake a stick at as I am part of the Stampin’ Stars Blog Hop. The Stampin’ Stars are the larger family of demo’s that I am part of and it’s great to have lots of levels of support and inspiration from such a great bunch of ladies. Just one of the many perks of being a Stampin’ Up demonstrator!
So after you’ve been here you can hop on your way round a collection of blogs all with projects to inspire you from the new Autumn Winter Seasonal catalogue – how fab is that! And just in case you’ve arrived on the hop from Cayleigh … well hello! Wasn’t that a great idea to create a sparkling bow!
With the launch of the latest catalogue Stampin’ Up! have given us even more ways to get our Christmas gift giving all wrapped up. In the seasonal they have added Large Gift boxes and decorative Window boxes to complement the current range. Today I have decorated up a Large Gift Box and when I say large, well they are quite large!
The boxes measure 15cm square and are 11cm deep so plenty of room for a good present. They are food safe too so I can see mine will be filled with all the festive treats I like to bake. To decorate the box I have used a range of new products. The bow is made using the new fabulous Gift Bow Bigz die which was at the top of my wish list – simply die cut and glue for some fabulous bows! I used the Seasons of Style Designer Paper for both the bow and the decorative band.
The chevron stamps, inked up in coordinating Cherry Cobbler and Old Olive ink, are from the A Banner Christmas stamp set, whilst the label is from Very Merry Tags Stamp set.
Finally I added some of the new Cherry Cobbler 1″ Stitched Grosgrain ribbon to finish it off. I love the thought of every one of my gifts being wrapped up Stampin’ Up style as it certainly gives the wow factor. I’ll be back soon with more ideas on getting your Christmas crafting all wrapped up, but for now why not hop off to see Nic aka the Sticky Elf and see what lovely project she has created?
