O’ Christmas Tree

by | Oct 11, 2013

Hello there, it’s Friday!!! I actually had a rare night off last night and went to a pub quiz with the hubby and guess what …. we came second and there were a fair few teams!

Today’s share features the longest serving stamp set in Stampin’ Up history, the timeless Lovely as a Tree. This has been around for over 20 years in the USA and it’s clear to see why. So it’s a Christmas card I have to show you , but it really is a set which can be used the whole year through.

Stampin' Up! Lovely as a Tree Christmas

I let the tall fir tree be the focal point of the card and created a large matt with the Circle Framelits for it to feature on. Using these framelits makes it super simple to die cut the card exactly where you want it. The background to the card shows the Woodgrain stamp which was inked up onto card before being sponged with ink and distressed.

To turn it festive I used the Silver Glass Glitter to add a touch of sparkle across the branches. The two way pen is great for positioning and fixing the glitter where you want.

I finished it off with a sentiment and some Cherry Cobbler Seam Binding Ribbon.

I best get busy this weekend and make some welcome packs for the ladies who are jumping at the chance to join my team with the super duper £25 offer.
