The start of a new month and the start of a new look to my blog posts … It’s not an April Fool I promise. I have been adding links within my posts to the online shop for some of the products used with each project I share. I thought I would try adding a gallery at the bottom of each post with all the products used so you can easily relate to what the product is and find them easier. Be great to hear if you like this new look …. or not?
So on with today’s project. On my Facebook page for my Saturdays Stampin Suggestion I challenged my likers to get out a stamp set they had not used and create a project with it. Always one to heed my own advice I got out 2 so far unused ones (I’m ashamed to admit there are a few more that I could have chosen too!) and had a play. Here’s what I came up with:
Stampin’ Delight Design Notes & Tips
- The Hardwood stamp was inked up in Soft Suede and stamped onto Crumb Cake cardstock before being sponged in crumb cake to add depth to the edges.
- I used three different flowers from Petite Petals stamp set and inked them in 3 different ways – Soft Suede, Blushing Bride and some which were gold embossed.
- A banner of Burlap ribbon adds texture whilst the banner of Gold Fancy Foil Designer Vellum adds a feminine soft touch.
- A simple sentiment from Teeny Tiny Sentiments completes the look.
My mum loved her card and I can’t quite believe that it has taken me soooo long to ink these gorgeous stamps up! I have a feeling they will be stuck on my desk for a little while as I play a little more.
Hasta luego / see you later
