I had a couple of gifts I needed to make for some team members so came up with these decorated notebooks.
STAMPIN’ DELIGHT TIPS & TRICKS
- I combined gold and vintage elements for an on trend look. I love the way Stampin’ Up! always keep up to date with the fashion of the day.
- The multilayered look of the notebook makes it feel very special and comprises a Tea Lace Paper Doily which has been given an aged look with sponging, a banner embossed with the Honeycomb Embossing Folder and a flower created with the Pansy punch and the gorgeous new Typeset Papers. Several layers of paper were punched out, before being spritzed, sponged and scrumpled, then adhered together with a candy dot brad. I love the fact that brads can match any project with a coordinating Candy Dot!
- Texture was added with some Gold Sequin Trim, a strip of Venetian Crochet trim and a Very Vintage Designer Button, tied with some Linen Thread. I love the fact you can also use the Gold Sequin Trim to get a few sequins to dot about here and there.
- I personalised the notebook with the initial of the recipient using the new Metro Type Alphabet Photopolymer Stamp Set and punched it out with the Artisan Label punch.
These particular notebooks were from my stash, and which I bought in a local supermarket a few months ago, but Stampin’ Up! now offer their own version, the Kraft Grid Journal, which will be on my next order!
Hasta luego / see you later
