So as we hurtle towards the end of October I thought I’d try and get organised for Christmas. Now I know it might seem a little early, but we have a hectic November planned and I want to be all done before December strikes, so with a few Christmas presents sorted, I thought I’d get ahead of the game and get them wrapped. So here is a collection all wrapped up using the Festival of Trees stamp set and punch …. one of my new favourite bundles!
STAMPIN’ DELIGHT TIPS & TRICKS
- The clear photopolymer stamps make it so easy to stamp a repeated pattern and the Festival of Trees Stamp set with it’s 5 different tree designs offers lots of options. I stamped onto some plain brown wrapping paper with a colour combination of Cherry Cobbler, Garden Green and Early Espresso.
- The tags were easily created with the Tag Topper punches and simply decorated with some punched out trees using the coordinating card stock and the Trim the Trees Designer Paper Stack. I added some vellum cardstock into the combination for added elegance.
- Each tag is finished off with some coordinating ribbon. I love how Stampin’ Up!’s colour coordination extends across all the embellishments.
- For the tall present I opted for this little 3D topper made simply with a collection of circle punches and the Trim the Tree Designer Paper Stack. The layer of Gold Glimmer paper adds a touch of festive glitz.
So hope you like my ideas for a little DIY gift wrap? I’d love to hear your thoughts, or even better see what you come up with to wrap your presents this year and feel free to share them over on my Facebook page. I will be looking at other ways of getting my Handmade Christmas all prepped and prepared so pop back soon for more ideas.
Hasta luego / see you later
Louise
