Sorry I didn’t make it back on Sunday with my MDS share as I planned …. I started cleaning the kitchen, and once I started I just couldn’t stop. Feel so much better now the oven and fridge have both had a deep clean though! I did post a quick preview of what I’ve been busy creating on MDS on my Facebook page so if ever you’re wondering what I am up to, be sure to pop on over and like the page to keep up to date.
Today I have another card with Festival of Trees that was one I showcased at my recent class.
STAMPIN’ DELIGHT TIPS & TRICKS
- The Trim the Tree Designer Paper Stack features some great plaid patterns, like the one used here as the main background, that are perfect for Christmas or other occasions.
- Layering up die cut Window framelits create a perfect focal point for the card
- The two-time stamped tree is achieved simply by stamping in Garden Green with the tree image before stamping over the top in Cherry Cobbler with the bauble stamp – so easy to achieve with photopolymer stamps. I then added depth by fussy cutting out the plant pot and bird and raising them up with dimensionals.
- The greeting from the Good Greetings set is simply added on with some coordinating handcut banners.
Sadly Good Greetings is no longer available – but a competition to win your very own set will be launched on Friday so be sure to pop back then.
Hasta luego / see you later
