Papercrafting supplies can be used to create all manner of gifts and today I have one of my favourite recent projects to share using my new best friend – Stampin Up Four Feathers stamp set. The idea for this project came from seeing some swaps from the Stampin’ Up! Convention created by a wonderfully talented German demonstrator, Jenni Pauli.
STAMPIN’ DELIGHT TIPS & TRICKS
- The Bookmark is created simply with the Scalloped tag Topper punch in layers of Lost Lagoon cardstock and Vellum.
- The Lost Lagoon layer features a panel decorated with the Chevron Embossing folder and some banners cut from the All is Calm Speciality Designer Paper. The third banner features part of one of the many sentiments in the And Many More stamp set, which was part coloured by a Stampin’ Marker and stamped and repeated, because everyone needs a little “Happy, Happy, Happy”.
- The Vellum layer features one of the larger feathers embossed in either white or silver. I love the effect of embossing on Vellum, so soft and subtle.
- Three feathers adhered to various types of ribbon or thread add some gorgeous dangles to the bookmark. I stamped two feathers in the colour combination of Smoky Slate and Lost Lagoon, and the third is die cut in Silver Glimmer Paper for a touch more sparkle.
- Making a collection of these took a little time, but it is so worth it as i love the finished idea.
- Here it is with the matching card. A great little gift to send to all my Craft Stash Club ladies. Did you know we are now at the end of the current club so I am looking for new members to commit to spending £25 a month for 6 months. Benefits include free product for one month of the club (minimum £25), free catalogues, free gifts and kits each month – see the details here. To reserve a place, please email me.
Hasta luego / see you later
