Hello and welcome to the first Stampin’ Creative Blog Hop …. I’m so excited!! Â So who are the Stampin’ Creative design team? – well we’re a happy group of UK Stampin’ Up! demonstrators who have decided to come together once a month to share projects along a set theme or sketch. So on the last Saturday of the month, you can be sure to swing by my blog and then head off on blog hop journey to fill your boots with inspiration!
For January our theme was Valentines and I created this cute little gift set using the Petite Cafe Gift Bags.
STAMPIN’ DELIGHT TIPS & TRICKS
- Using the Hearts framelits I created a window in the Petite Cafe Gift Bag to give a glimpse of the goodies inside – none there yet, but I will be baking something yummy to add to it before it makes its way to the recipient. I’m thinking chocolate brownies – they are great bags as they are totally food safe.
- A simple sponged decoration using the Hearts Decorative Mask and Real Red ink before adding some die cut hearts carries on the love theme. I finished off the bag with a strip of Real Red Taffeta ribbon and some handcut banners.
- The accompanying card is a 5″ square card, created from the Kraft cardstock to match the bag. Layers of Whisper White and Real Red cardstock set off the gorgeous paper from the Designer Series Paper stack.
- Â The focal point is created by cutting a circle in the Designer Series Paper and adding a heart created with the Sweetheart punch and finished off with a sentiment from the And Many More stamp set.
So I hope you like my first project for our Stampin’ Creative Blog Hop – you can see all the products used at the end of this post. Now it’s time to go visit all the other lovely ladies taking part – you have 7 different projects to see! Ooooo a gorgeous set and I’m loving the idea of Brownies in that bag. I’d be delighted to receive that and I’m thinking this would be a wonderful gift for our son’s Key Worker at Pre School. Some lovely creations, a great Blog Hop and well organised by you. Thank you Louise x
thanks hun, loved your set too – great minds think alike! Glad you’re on the design team xx
How did you use the framelit on the bag without cutting through the back of the bag?
Hi Dianna, all you need to do is place the framelit inside the bag with blade facing up and run through big shot. I shall add this technique to my video’s to do! 😉
Brilliant!!!
Love your projects Louise and a big thanks for organising it all, loved being part of it 🙂
