The Stampin’ Up! Irresistibly Yours papers are great for creating backgrounds in the right shade of colour to match your project. In my Papercraft Class I demonstrated the technique using the Stampin’ Spritzer with this card here, but for those that were a little shy to get their spritz on, I showcased this card showing the same papers but this time with the Stampin’ Sponges.

STAMPIN’ DELIGHT TIPS & TRICKS

  • The Irresistibly Yours Designer Series papers were coloured with a duo of sponges in the colours of Real Red and Crushed Curry. By blending the colours a lovely subtle effect is created.

  • The Lotus Blossom stamp set is another one of the Sale-a-bration items that is free with every £45 spent. This stamp set comes in photopolymer, making stamping the 3 images that make up the flower very easy to achieve.

  • The greeting was from an old faithful sentiment collection of mine – Petite Pairs and punched out with the Oval punch and layered onto the Scalloped Oval punch – got to love coordinating punches!

This was probably the most popular card in class …. what do you think? Do you like the sponge effect? I would love to hear your thoughts.

Hasta luego / see you later
