As a crafter I have become one of those people who save all manner of things so that I can re-use or recycle it into something better – my husband calls me a hoarder (not on the scale of that tv show The Hoarder Next Door you understand!) but enough that my craft room can be overflowing with said items. This month I decided to put to use those embellishment pots you get from purchasing Stampin’ Up! embellishments like buttons and brads and upcycle them as part of my thank you gift to my Craft Stash Club ladies. It’s a great way of presenting a gift and perfect way to upcycle something you get for free with your Stampin’ Up! purchases.

STAMPIN’ DELIGHT TIPS & TRICKS

• The Embellishment pots are simply decorated round the side with a strip of Back to Black Designer Series Paper which has now retired – but not long to wait till we have a whole new collection of Designer Series Paper to choose from, and there is one called Everyday Chic which would be perfect to recreate this.
• The circles collection framelits were used to add the coordinating circles of cardstock and paper layered on top
• I added a punched out Pansy flower to decorate it topped off with a Vintage Faceted Designer Button. Nestled inside the pot was a collection of these buttons for the ladies to use on their own crafting creations.

• A matching card was created using the same Designer Series Paper and a flower from the fab Flower Shop stamp set.  It is set off with some bright Real Red leaves for a pop of colour and a matching Candy Dot.
