Stampin’ Up I Think You’re Great Quick Card

Time is very precious and here at the Casa de Craft the last few weeks have flown by. It’s when life gets busy that making a handmade card can seem a little out of reach, but with Stampin’ Up! supplies at my finger tips I always seem able to whip up a quick card in no time. Today’s card was a simple design to show that cards do not have to feature lots of layers and elements to still have that wow factor.

STAMPIN’ DELIGHT TIPS & TRICKS

The I Think You’re Great stamp set features a large cross hatch image that is perfect for background interest – here I stamped it in Sahara Sand to match the cardbase, but after stamping off for a more subtle effect.

The beautiful flower image is stamped in Memento Black onto the Whisper White card and again on a scrap piece so that the flower head can be snipped out and raised up on Dimensionals for added interest. Here it is coloured with the new 2015-2017 In Color Watermelon Wonder … a colour that is proving a bit of a hit here in the Casa de Craft!
Torn edges and a strip of the Sahara Sand Lace trim contrast well to create a distressed and dainty effect.
