Hello and welcome to another edition of the Stampin’ Creative Blog Hop. This month it is all about gift packaging – perfect time to start thinking about the busy gift giving season ahead and I’m sure the rest of the crew have a fantastic range of ideas for you. In fact you might have arrived from Mikaela’s blog, if so hello and if not the list of blogs on the hop are listed at the bottom so you can hop round from here.

So for my gift packaging I decided to give the Cutie Pie Thinlet an outing and see what idea’s I could come up with and a have a trio of projects to share …. come and see!

STAMPIN’ DELIGHT TIPS & TRICKS

  • The Cutie Pie Thinlet creates a fun cake box shape which can be used for all sorts of occasions. Here the cake was baked with some Thick Whisper White cardstock for added firmness!

  • The die collection comes with various additional dies to decorate the cake boxes including a coordinating triangle shape – here I used some of the lovely Mint Macaron Designer Paper from the In Colour Stack.
  • I topped it off with a flower from Petal Potpurri – this comes in a bundle with the Flower Medallion punch to save you 15%. The box was finished off with some of the gorgeous in Colour Dotted Lace Trim.

  • The next cake I popped into the Casa de Craft oven was a simple birthday cake and here I used some of the Neutrals Designer paper to and the scallop die to create a Designer Paper icing layer. The thinlets set comes with a die to create a candle and here I added a Gold Glimmer paper candle for some glitz!

  • You can use a combination of 2 dies to create this cute bow – simple to put together too! Finished it off with a few sprinkles from the Gold Sequin trim. I love how you can use the sequins as a trim or individually.
  • Now for my favourite make of the trio! A Cutie Pie Christmas Tree!

  • I created the cutie pie in Garden Green cardstock and simply decorated it with some Gold Sequin Trim tinsel. The gorgeous Home for Christmas Enamel Dots from the Autumn Winter catalogue make great baubles. Finally  I mounted my Cutie Pie tree on a simple 1″ cube box the trunk
