It’s the last Saturday of the month and that means it’s the Stampin’ Creative Blog Hop. If you’ve been here before you might have seen some other posts of this type or you might be on your very first hop … either way welcome! Each month there is a fab group of Stampin’ Up demonstrators, who come to together to showcase a range of projects on a given theme and this month it is fancy folds!
So you might have hopped over the super Lelly Jelly who I am sure has created something fancy and fun! At the bottom of the post you can click on the Stampin’ Creative Blog Hop button to hop to your next destination or see a full list of the blogs below.
So without further ado, here’s my fancy fold cards. I opted for the Bendi card, one seen all over Pinterest and Blog land at the moment, and ones I shared at my Cosy Christmas Craft Day so come and have a look!
STAMPIN’ DELIGHT TIPS & TRICKS
- The Bendi card is created with one main panel and two curved panels which slot into each other – I loved creating these as part of the reason I love making handmade cards is to create something a little different from your standard shaped card.
- The colour combination used is Mossy Meadow and Whisper White. The panels are decorated with various products from the Autumn Winter catalogue. Here the Sleigh Ride Edgelits Dies form the silhouettes for the main panel, whilst the Softly Falling embossing folder adds texture to the second panel. Lastly the snow and sentiment stamped on the front panel are from Happy Scenes Stamp set with the snow being embossed with White emboss powder for an extra level .
- Here’s another one using the Home for Christmas Designer Series Paper and the Cosy Christmas stamp Set in a combination of Real Red and Pool Party. The Bow Builder punch adds a fun festive bow to the top of the card.
- After some simple stamping on the smallest layer the Home for Christmas Enamel dots adds some pizzazz – these are super cute to finish off your projects.
So that’s my fancy folds cards, hope you like them? Now it’s time to see what fun folds sneak peeks the rest of the Stampin’ Creative Crew have for you, so hop on over to Emily at the Stampin’ Mermaid – click the button below and you’ll be on your way!
Hasta luego / see you later
