I have a card to share today which features a fun Scallop Circle Punch 3D flower and was one of the makes from my monthly Card Club. Each month we get together to create a collection of 8-10 cards for the stash, 2 of each design, which cover a range of occasions. It’s a lovely way to spend an evening … stamp, natter, relax and drink tea. Scroll down for more details on the upcoming Card Clubs.
But for now I want to tell you more about the card, creating the 3D Scallop Punch flower was easy to do and a great way of getting more from your punches. Come and find out more ….
STAMPIN’ DELIGHT TIPS & TRICKS
- The 3D flower was created with the 1¼” Scallop Circle punch – 6 layers punched out and then the edges sponged in Crumb Cake ink for the distressed look. Each punched layer is then spritzed gently with water and crumpled up. Once dry the layers are held together with a Mini Brad and fluffed into a flower. Love this!
- The flower forms the main feature of the card with some leaves punched with the Bird Builder punch to create a backdrop.
- A trio of banners in Pink Pirouette Designer Series Paper from the Subtles Stack and an embossed strip of Very Vanilla cardstock with the Happy Heart embossing folder make this suitable for a wedding, anniversary or birthday card.
- The card is finished off with a strip of the Very Vanilla Satin ribbon and a sentiment from the Perfect Pairings Stamp Set (a Saleabration set FREE with every £45 order).
There’s only a few more days left to get hold of the exclusive Sale-a-bration items. You can view them here
