Time to kick off the bank holiday weekend with a bang so I’m here with the Stampin’ Creative Blog Hop. This month we have a theme of Cards for Men.
You’re here with Louise at Stampin’ Delight so hello if you’ve just stopped by, or you may have arrived from the lovely Caro at Craft with Caro and her fab creation.
CARDS FOR MEN
Today I have two cards to share that would be perfect to send any man in your life for their birthday – uncle, brother, nephew.
Both cards feature all the same supplies, so it is great to see how easy it is to create a different look. I used the Festive Birthday Designer Series Paper, which on first glance feature sombreros and cacti and so have remained on my shelf for months.
However, they are so much more with lots of fun patterns in bright colours, perfect for creating bright cards for any boy, and currently on offer in the Retiring list at £8.00 for the 12 sheets of 12″ x 12″.
The balloons, candles and phrases all come from a great stamp set called Birthday Bright. This is a set that coordinates with a kit, but it is such a versatile set it is great addition to your craft stash on it’s own.
The balloons in the set coordinate with the Balloon Bouquet Punch, such a great way to pop them out and layer them up. The stamps are also made to coordinate with the Bunch of Banners framelits, which I’ve used for both sentiments.
NEWSFLASH! The Emerald Envy Taffeta Ribbon is now on sale for just £2.75 for over 9m! It’s such a lovely thin ribbon to tie a bow and so doesn’t overembellish simple cards for men.
On the candle card I stamped and fussy cut out 3 candles and lined them all up to create one large candle before adding the banner on top with dimensionals. Love the fun saying on this one too.
So that’s my birthday inspiration for men – fun, bright and easy to do.
Thanks for stopping by and now it’s time to hop on and have a peek at the fabulous creations the rest of the Stampin’ Creative Crew have to share. Hop on to Pip at Queen Pip Cards for your next dose of inspiration!
Thanks for coming to visit today – I would love to hear what you think and all of us at the Stampin’ Creative love it when you leave us a comment.
Hasta luego / see you later

Fabulous makes Louise, I love how both look so different,,,,,,
Wow Louise, these cards both pack a punch. Vibrant and so generic in their theme that it makes me wonder why we find it so hard to create such beautiful masculine cards?! You have made it look effortless. Fabulous creations xx
Such fab bright cards! I too left that DSP in my drawer for far too long, but the patterns are so perfect for birthdays and other happy occasions!
