Seasonal Layers Thinlets Stick Man

by | May 28, 2017

New products are always fun to play with and when the Colour Theory Suite landed here at the Casa de Craft, I got stuck in stamping and die cutting with the Seasonal Layers Thinlets. In the process of creating a nice spring card with the flowers, someone appeared to me …. none other the Stick Man character created by the children’s favourite author Julia Donaldson. Here he is in is original form

And here is the Stampin’ Up! character!

Stampin' Up! Seasonal Layers Thinlets creates fun Julia Donaldson book character Stick Man

The branch looked like a running stick in it’s primitive form, so by simply adding a second arm and a nose and a googly eye and my replica was created. The Colour Theory Designer Paper Stack with it’s ombre designs was the perfect backdrop.

Stick Man’s hair was simply added with a couple of of petals from one of the flowers in the thinlet set, and his footprints are part of the coordinating Stamp Set Colourful Seasons which I’ve already showcased with this card here.

The name was simply added with the Labeler Stamp Set in coordinating Early Espresso ink.

So this is my fun card with this product suite, what do you think?

If you want to see these products up close and personal in the new Stampin’ Up! Catalogue along with all the other fabulous new goodies, contact me to claim your copy.

Hasta luego / see you later
