A little later than planned (think jet lag is still having an effect … or the week back at work!) but I’m here with the second installment of my trip to Thailand. You can read the first part of the Incentive Trip here.
During the week we spent lots of time with the other 16 UK Demos and their partners who had come on the trip. Here is photo of all the UK achievers together with our UK Manager. Such a fabulous bunch of people!
Day 3 – Speed Boat Trip
I got to spend a fun day out with the majority of them, when Stampin’ Up! took us all out on a speed boat excursion on Wednesday. Time for a few speed boat Stampin’ Selfies!
We got to see some gorgeous scenery, went out on canoes to see some Sea Caves, visited James Bond Island and a floating village.
It was a fun packed day full of lots of laughter, and ended with a BBQ on a beach with everyone else. Just amazing! I was fortunate enough to chill on the beach for a short while with my fellow first time Incentive Trip achiever Jenny and Sara Douglass, the CEO of Stampin’ Up! Definitely time for a Stampin’ Selfie!
Day 4 – Blue Elephant Cookery Course
Both me and Owen are big foodies, so we enjoyed sampling all the local food during our trip, and booked on to a Cookery Course excursion. This was held at the Blue Elephant – Thailand’s leading cookery school. We were taught by Chef Nooror, the leading lady of Thai Cuisine. You can read more about her here. It was a fab day – we got to see the local markets and then be shown how and then cook 4 key Thai dishes. Yum!
And look a photo of Owen, where he is not pulling a face or avoiding eye contact! Here are my creations, which we got to eat as our lunch in the lovely restaurant.
I can’t wait to try and recreate these dishes at home. We got to bring home some of their curry paste and chillies and the apron – so there should be no stopping us now!
So that was a couple of action packed days – I’ll be back tomorrow with the details of the final party and some more Stampin’ Selfies.
Hasta luego / see you later
Louise
