Apologies for the delay in this last installment of my tales of Thailand. You can read Part 1 and also Part 2. Warning : Stampin’ Selfie overload!
Day 5 – Chill and Final Event!
The final day we opted to chill by the pool and it was a great opportunity to spend time with people we had formed friendships during the week. Then before we knew it, it was time to head off to the Final Event. Stampin’ Up! had hired the Blue Elephant grounds and set up a fabulous marquee to host this spectacular event.
There was artisan stall holders, oodles of authentic Thai buffet food, music and more. It was a great send off by Stampin’ Up from what was an awesome trip.
On the Incentive Trip the hospitality and attention to detail is outstanding from the moment you arrived to when you leave. The generosity from Stampin’ Up! in gifts for achievers is so overwhelming it really makes you feel special.
One of the best things was getting to meet lots of people – not only the Stampin’ Up staff and members of the board, but demonstrators from around the world, forming new friendships, cementing online ones with a hug and a natter, and also getting to know the rest of the UK demo’s a lot better.
It was a full on week of Stampin’ Selfies as I got to meet lots of my Stampin’ idols!
Me and Stampin’ Up! founder and Board Chair Shelli Gardner
Me and Robyn Cardon of The Pink Stamper – such a sweet and fun lady!
Me and Ronda Wade – the original Rubber Queen and a training guru!
Me and Dawn Griffiths raiding the M&M’s in the hospitality suite!
Me and Kylie and Bruno Bertucci – such a fun couple – you right!
Stampin’ Selfie Mania
Now Owen who started off shying away from any kind of Selfie as you can see in Part 1 and Part 2, but when got to the final event and I grabbed a selfie with Robyn and Ronda, he decided he wanted in on the action and so began a fun evening of Stampin’ Selfies with Owen.
First he went in for one with Robyn and then grabbed a couple with some of our UK companions!
One of my favourite ones is this one with Sarah Berry of Stamp with Sarah! Plus he also grabbed ones with Monica Gale, and then the UK and New Zealand Business Development Managers Paula and Emma.
Then he decided to head off and find more #menofstampinup! Here he is with the legendary Brian King, the lovely Jake from the home office, Bruno Bertucci and our cooking companion from the previous day, Axel, the European manager.
He headed round the majority of the UK achievers – Sam, Amanda, Michelle, Gina, Kim, Natalie and a few of their guests!
Getting cheekier and more mischievous by the moment he decided to go big and grabbed a stampin’ selfie with Sara Douglass (CEO of Stampin’ Up!), her husband Sean and Shelli!
It was such a fun evening and despite a little embarrassment it was great to see Owen getting into the Stampin’ Up! way of life!
We are now both working hard to try and earn the next Incentive Trip – a cruise to Alaska – and I will be having a special offer in August from me to help us do just that!
Lastly, but not least – I could not have experienced this trip of lifetime without my awesome customers, fabulous team and supportive family and friends so thanks to all of you!
Thank you, Thank You, Thank You!
Hasta luego / see you later
Louise
