Stampin’ Up! Carols of Christmas Stable Door Card
I am back with another card using the Carols of Christmas Stamp Set and this one is a simple, quick and easy fun fold called a Stable Door Card.
The stable door part of the card is covered in some of the gorgeous new Merry Little Christmas Designer Series Paper (available on 1st September) which lead to using the gorgeous colour combination of Old Olive and Basic Black for a modern and fresh take on the traditional colours of Christmas.
Continuing the colour theme into the stamping is easy with Stampin’ Up’s colour families and the Stampin’ Write markers were used to create the sentiment in the 2 matching colours.
How to Create a Stable Door Card
Creating a Stable Door is easy, simply cut the front of a standard size card front in half and remove the top part. What is even better is you can still create 2 cards from one sheet of A4!
I added a decorative topper using the Layering Circle Framelits and these work perfectly with the large sentiments in the Carols of Christmas Stamp Set.
As the inside of the card is visible it’s good to add some inside stamping! There are 2 different trio’s of ornaments in the set to allow for various options.
See how easy it is for something a little different – quick, simple and easy!
Happy Crafting and hasta luego
