The Christmas Quilt Suite is fast turning into one of my favourite suites from the Autumn Winter Catalogue. Here I show how you can just use the Quilt Builder framelits on their own to create a striking design.
Christmas Quilt Builder Framelits
The framelits collection is so versatile – you can use them together or independently to create so many different designs. It has immediate appeal to all those who like to pick up a needle and thread but I think the versatility means it will be great for everyone.
Here I used the intricate die two times, once each in Whisper White and Red Glimmer Paper and then had great fun building the design back together on top of a Real Red piece of cardstock.
To add extra elegance to the card I used the Softly Falling Embossing Folder on the White Layer. I love how this embossing folder fits with all styles of cards.
The finishing touches include a sentiment from Watercolour wishes stamped in Real Red ink and one of the gorgeous Stitched Felt Embellishments. These are one of the fabulous new items from the Autumn Winter catalogue and I love the 3 designs – Holly, Trees and Stars.
So are you a needle maestro and want to bring that into your cardmaking or maybe you can see these Quilt Builder dies being used for all sorts of creations?
I will be sharing this card and lots of other inspiration at Stoneleigh Park this weekend at the Crafting Live show. On Saturday 30 September it is open 10am-5pm and Sunday 1 October 2017 it is open 10am-4pm.
If you want to come along and see the stand plus all the other fabulous stands at the show please go to Crafting Live website to purchase your tickets. It’s going to be such a fun weekend!
