Over the coming weeks I am planning on sharing some of my favourite projects with the items that are soon to be unavailable for purchase on the last chance to buy Retiring Lists.
Today is one of the older sets on my stamp shelf as it’s been around since 2013, and yet still a firm favourite – Flower Shop. The stamp set features 6 pansy images, each one offering a different style of flower, from a scribble effect to a watercolour design and a sketch outline and more.
The project uses a collection of several of the flower designs, all stamped in Rich Razzleberry Ink. Once stamped they are punched out with the coordinating Pansy punch to allow for even more creativity. The trick with Flower Shop is to line the stamp up before stamping to fit in the punch, as it is not a symmetrical flower.
Each card uses a banner of the Fabulous Foils Designer Acetate as a backdrop. These acetates come with 3 different designs and it has a gold effect on one side and silver on the other, allowing you to choose which metallic choice suits the occasion. These are also on the Retiring Lists … so be sure to stock up on them now!
