Anything Goes with the Stampin’ Creative Blog Hop

by | Jul 28, 2018

Hello and welcome to the this month’s Stampin’ Creative blog hop, whether you regularly visit my blog or have popped along from one of the other Stampin’ Creative Crew, then welcome, come in and see what we have to share this month. This month we are joined by the lovely Diane from Crafty Ducks and Jamie Robinson Albanese from Getting Crafty. The theme is anything goes so I thought I’d share a gift wrap idea.

The end of school always brings that stress of what to buy the teachers, but this year I knew exactly what to get them. My husband works at the Vine Inn Brewery, making Gin and Vodka small batch infusions, and I put them forward for a stall at the school’s Summer Fair and well let’s just say the Gin went down very well with all the teachers!

Strawberry Gin from the Vine Inn makes a gorgeous gift

I didn’t have lots of time to create elaborate packaging as we were busy preparing for the Incentive Trip (more of that soon …. but if you can’t wait, just check out my Facebook Page!), so quick and easy was key. That meant a stamp set and matching punch as that is always great for a quick project. So I chose a new floral themed one from the Annual catalogue – Pop of Petals.

Pop of Petals is a perfect gift wrap stamp set. Quick and easy with a coordinating punch to create a end of summer teachers gift wrap.

The Pop of Petals Stamp Set has several flower designs that you can use and all coordinate with the Four Petal Flower Punch. Here I used Poppy Parade ink to stamp all over these brown paper bags in a random fashion – the perfect colour to match the Gin!

Gift Wrap Banner

I created a simple banner to adhere to the bag to decorate it with the Banner Triple punch, layering a stamped piece of Whisper white on some matching Poppy Parade cardstock. Added some green foilage with Pear Pizzazz and finished it off with a swirl of the Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon. This was the perfect adornment for the Gin too, to tie the gift wrap together.

So that is my gift wrap share for anything goes and now you can hop on to check for some more ideas with the other members of the Stampin’ Creative Crew.
