Sneak Peek at Sale-a-bration with Stampin’ Creative

by | Dec 29, 2018

Hello! I’m back on the blog for the final time this year with the Stampin’ Creative. Oh, what a fun year we have had sharing projects each and every month, with various special guest hoppers along the way – you can check out the other posts here.

I am very lucky to count all of these lovely ladies as good friends, made through my crafting community of Stampin’ Up! As we continue into 2019 we are proud to shout out to 2 of our team who have been selected as the 2 UK Artisan Designers for 2019 – well done Mikaela and Emma!!

So without further ado, today we are taking a sneak peek at new products coming in the Spring Summer catalogue or the Sale-a-bration offering for 2019. We are lucky to be joined by the lovely BJ Peters at StampinBJ. I chose a stamp set that is part of Sale-a-bration options called Hello Cupcake and created 2 cards in a using the same ingredients, but changing the layout.

Hello Cupcake - a Sale-a-bration 2019 stamp set creates perfect birthday cards. free with a £45 order.

The cupcake stamp design is in a gorgeous scribble effect, allowing for simple stamping which creates a wow! I opted for a bright and summery colour combination of Poppy Parade, So Saffron and Grey Granite with a touch of Gold in the form of Gold embossing and some of the Gold Foil Sheets.

Hello Cupcake Stamp Set is free with a £45 order during Sale-a-bration 2019

For both cards the Layering Circles Framelits created a window and the cupcakes are stamped on the inside of the card. The precision stamping of the Cupcake was easy to do with the Stamparatus.

To add a touch of glamour I stamped the sentiments onto Vellum cardstock and used Gold Embossing Powder for added shimmer!

Hello Cupcake Window card - simple stamping for a super birthday card.

Each card is given added sparkle with a touch of of the Mini Sequin Trim in gold – I love the versatility of using this in it’s original form as a trim and also using the sequins individually.

So I hope you like my 2 versions of this style of card. Now it’s time to see what other sneak peeks the rest of the Stampin’ Creative have for you.

Happy Crafting and hasta luego,

Love these cards Louise. I particularly love the aperture that beautifully frames the cupcake. We seldom see cards that are stamped inside for viewing from the front. Beautiful x
