Hello! It’s a new time slot for me and my Stampin’ Creative pals, but we hope you enjoy coming here every last Thursday of the month to see what we have in store for you.
Today’s theme was #simplestamping … an initiative by Stampin’ Up! for us to showcase some simple stamping projects. The idea is we make projects that are perfect for anyone to have a go at, with just stamps, ink and paper. No fancy tools, and creating projects with pure simplicity.
Today I am sharing 3 simple cards made with the Cake Soiree stamp set – come and see!
This stamp set is one of my favourites from last years Spring release that carried over into the Annual Catalogue. I teamed it up with the new papers in this year’s Spring Summer catalogue – the All My Love Designer Series Papers as they share pretty floral images and work well together.
Inspired by the papers, I used the colour combination of Crumb Cake and Lovely Lipstick. The best thing about creating cards inspired by the Designer Series Papers are that each one has a coordinating Cardstock pack so you can get a trio of matching coloured cardstock. The third card really is simple stamping at it’s best. A trio of flower images, simply stamped and fussy
It really is amazing what you can create with just stamps, ink and paper.
