Hello! Today I am joining in with a blog hop with a group of bloggers that have a special place in my heart … they all started or developed their blogging skills after coming on a workshop I ran with my fellow Simply Unique Business Angel, Pip Todman.
The “Friends of SUBA” Blog hop has been going quite some time, but this is the first time I have joined in! I’m excited!
The theme of this month’s hop was animals, and I couldn’t not share a favourite type of animal for me and my family … birds! My kids love spotting the birds that visit our garden and my whole family are all RSPB members.
This card was created with the stamp set Free as a Bird. It’s perfect for your ornothogical friends and family. The set features 2 different bird images, but this one of several on a branch is by far my favourite! Just too cute.
The Nested Stitched Label dies are perfect for cutting out this image and can be purchased a s a bundle with this stamp set. Meanwhile Stampin’ Blends make colouring in the sweet birds a dream not a chore .. you can see the colours I used on the list of products at the bottom of the post.
I teamed up the stamped image with the coordinating papers – Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper, and added a little touch of texture with the Scalloped Lace trim and the Bird Ballad trinkets which are all part of the coordinating suite.
Now it’s time to fly off (get it!!) and visit the rest of the Friends of SUBA and see what animal creations they have come up with.
