Summer Days Scrapbook

Hello! I am back with the “Friends of SUBA” Blog hop and the theme is Summer Days scrapbook page.

Now, I don’t really do Scrapbooking at all – I’m definitely a cardmaker or a 3d project kind of creator. However when Memories & More was introduced I did start memory keeping.

So, although my album has lain untouched and unloved for quite some time, this challenge spurred me to get it back out.

I forgot how fun and easy this way of memory keeping is – so quick and easy to do and so nice to look back at photo’s of my daughter from when she was younger. This page took me about 15 to 20 mins to pull together and most of that was looking through the gorgeous selection of cards that come in the Memories and More collection.

With Stampin’ Up! Memories and More collections I love how you have coordinating products to embellishe the pages. Here I used some of the Magnolia Lane Designer Series papers to accent a card and then added texture with the Magnolia Lane

The journalling is added using one of the fun stickers that come with the Memories & More packs – I love these to add interest to the page.

On a side note … how cute was my little Miss G !?! So I hope you enjoyed my take on a Summer Days scrapbook page. Now to see what some of the other Friends of SUBA hoppers have created.
