I have one of my favourite cards from my recent cardmaking sessions to share with you today. It features a stained glass effect created by embossing on Vellum cardstock and then colouring in with Stampin’ Blends. I used the Happy Birthday To You stamp set, which you can currently earn for free with any order of £45 or more.

This is a Facebook Live recording. so please be aware it has live chat. I love how this card turned out – and the colour combination reminds me a little of Wedgewood pottery with the Seaside Spray and Whisper White.
Adhering the vellum to the card can be tricky due to it’s opacity … so adding a few Pearl embellishments can be a great way of hiding the glue.
The stained glass layer was placed on top of an embossed layer of Whisper White. I used the Tin Tile embossing folder to add interest and I think it works brilliantly with the embossed design. What about you?
