Hello! I’m hopping with the Stampin’ Creative Global blog hop today, and we have a theme of Whatever the Weather. Currently we have some really sunny days here in the UK, so I opted to team up some sunny floral papers with the Under the Umbrella bundle. It’s the perfect combination for UK weather – sunny days and showers!
Come and see what I made.
There are 2 cards, one a normal A6 size and then I created a larger DL size card.
The pretty papers are from a brand new collection in the upcoming Annual Catalogue – Flowers for Every Season (available on 3rd June). I absolutely adore these papers which come in a handy 6 x 6″ pack (48 sheets for £10.75) – I’ve used 3 of the 12 designs here on these 2 cards.
The colours in the papers are all 5 of the new 2020-2022 In Colours, but for my card duo I kept to using Bumblebee and Just Jade with a neutral background of Sahara Sand.
The Under the Umbrella Stamp set works great with this technique of stamping on to the papers and then punching out with the coordinating Umbrella builder punch.
On this card I used the open Umbrella image and added some coordinating In Colour Enamel dots as a simple accent. The Under the Umbrella stamp set has a fab range of greetings – I’ve used 2 different ones here and there are 4 more to choose from and some gorgeous Welly boots too. You can see a card I created with that here. Finally I used the gorgeous new In colour ribbon in Bumblebee to add some texture too.
So that’s my creations for my Whatever the Weather projects – now time to head out and see what the rest of the Stampin’ Creative ladies have created.
