Hello! Have you had enough of the new In Colours yet … no nor me! I absolutely love the new 2020 In Colours and even though that is the theme for today’s hop with the Stampin’ Creative Global blog hop I think I would have been using them anyway. I just can’t put them down!

Come and see what I made.

I made a large 5 x 7″ card so I could create the design I had in my head. My vision featured a rainbow sponged background with the colouring appearing through some die-cut windows.

How to make this card

• Cut a piece of Whisper White measuring 4 ½ x 6 ½” and using Stampin’ sponges create a layered background. I started with Magenta Madness, then Bumblebee, Just Jade and finished with Misty Moonlight.
• Then take another piece of Whisper White measuring 4 ½ x 6 ½” and die cut 3 of the large intricate sunflowers from the Sunflower dies. Keep the pieces you cut but remove all the petals.
• Layer the 2nd piece on top of the sponged background and fix into place, and then piece the sunflowers back in.
• Glue this on to a piece of Basic Black card measuring 4 ¾ x 6 ¾” and then add to a card base in Thick Whisper White cardstock measuring 5×7″.
• To finish I added an embossed sentiment – stamped in Versamark on Basic Black cardstock and then used White Emboss powder before heat setting it with my heat tool. I then simply fussy cut it out and added to the card.

I do think it’s quite a striking card and you could make it with a range of coloured backgrounds. Ooohh the possibilities!
