Create a Simple Easter Egg card

by | Mar 28, 2021

Making a card for Easter can be quick and simple as I share today – part of the Stamptastic Friends Blog Hop.The theme was for spring or easter and I have created a simple easter egg card design that you can do with some basic supplies.

Create a simple Easter egg card using an oval aperture.

STEP 1 Create a simple Oval Aperture for your Easter Egg Card

The basis of this simple easter egg card is a simple oval aperture. The Layering Ovals dies work for this as do the Stitched Shapes. Both of these are on the Last Chance list so if you don’t have any oval dies in your collection, then they are a great addition.

Once I created the window I wanted to add some texture so used the Tin Tile 3D embossing folder for a vintage feel.

STEP 3 – Stamp your egg design

On another piece of card, stamp a design for your Egg. On this card I used the pretty background stamp from Woven Heirlooms in a colour combination of Mint Macaron, So Saffron and Calypso Coral.

STEP 3 – Decorate the easter egg.

The finishing touches to this card are a trio of 3 Small Blooms punched out in the coordinating cardstock. Finished off with a Basic Rhinestone for a bit of sparkle.

Lastly I stamped an Easter sentiment from Itty Bitty Greetings and punched out with the Classic Label punch.

Lots of the items I am using are on the Last Chance List – as we say goodbye to lots of products ready for a new Annual Catalogue. These following items are whilst stocks last :
